The Eastern Washington University Foundation partnered with NFL player and EWU alumnus Michael Roos for the event, which took place June 10-12, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. With the world-class Coeur d’Alene Resort as the backdrop, the event brought together current and former NFL players, EWU supporters and several corporate sponsors for three days of competition featuring golf and bass fishing.
Presenting sponsors included The Coeur d’Alene Resort, Cabela’s, Alaska Airlines and Fox Sports Northwest (FSN).
The resort was the site of the golf tournament and barbecue, and its marina, on scenic Lake Coeur d’Alene, was the launching point for the bass fishing competition and evening cruise. Cabela’s provided equipment for all participants, and hosted an in-store autograph session at its Post Falls location. Alaska Airlines helped provide air travel arrangements.
