Welcome to the Eastern Washington University Cheerleaders page.

Congratulations to the New 2013-2014 EWU Cheerleading Team

EWU Cheer is a lot of work and time commitment. However, we’re a close knit team and are an extended family. The squad consists of girls and guys for the year-long academic school season. The team practices together three times a week and there can be up to 3-4 games a week to cheer at when sports overlap. Practice times usually run from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. The Cheer Team attends all home football, and men's/women's basketball games. There are many fundraisers and appearances throughout the Cheney/Spokane communities that cheer will attend.

The EWU Cheer Team gets the opportunity to travel to select road games depending on proximity to Cheney and schedule conflicts with other EWU home games. This year we traveled to Portland, OR, Missoula, MT, Pullman, WA, Moscow, ID.

The Cheer Team practices in the EWU Dance Studio located on campus that connects to other EWU Athletic facilities.

Our main goal is to represent EWU in a positive way as we strive hard to energize the crowd at EWU Athletic and Club Events.
