46 Selected to Spring All-Academic Team
A total of 46 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for the 2011 spring quarter. Of the total, 20 were from the women's outdoor track and field team, 12 from the men's outdoor squad, six from women's tennis, five from men's tennis and three from women's golf.

Spokane, Wash., native Erica Chaney broke the school record in the shot put en route to winning that event Friday (May 13) afternoon at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif. Eagles Head to California for Double Duty
The Eastern Washington University track and field team will travel to sunny Long Beach, Calif., this Friday and Saturday (April 15-16) to compete in the prestigious Mt. Sac Relays and the Beach Invitational. Competition at the Mt. Sac Relays will begin Friday (April 15) at 9 a.m., with the women's 1,500 meters and the women's javelin throw. Saturday's competition will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the men's 4x400 relay, and field events start at 9 a.m.
