2011-12: Indoor: At the UW Husky Classic, Stray set her new personal best in the weight throw with a toss of 45-10. She also placed fourth in the weight throw at the Candy Cane Invite with a mark of 44-8. Outdoor: Stray placed 12th at the BSC Outdoor Championships with a hammer throw of 147-10. She threw a personal best of 158-9 at the Whitworth Final Qualifying Meet to place first overall.

2010-11: Indoor: Stray reached her season best in the weight throw twice with a mark of 41-7 coming at both the Bronco Open and UW Husky Classic. Outdoor: Her season best of 142-2 in the hammer throw came at the Oregon Preview, where she placed 10th.

2009-10: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Stray threw a season-best distance of 148-2 in the hammer throw at the WSU Cougar Invitational, placing 11th overall. Her next best hammer mark came at the Oregon Relays, where she placed 10th with a throw of 146-4 1/4.

High School:  Recruited as a hammer thrower, Stray’s best throw as a senior came at the Centralia Hammer Championships with a mark of 144-2. However, that event is not yet a WIAA district or state championship event in the state of Washington. Stray also finished eighth in the javelin with a throw of 96-8 at the District 4 2A Championships, with her best effort coming at the Washougal Twilight Invitational with a throw of 100-3. On Bob Gourley’s national rankings list, Stray ranked 25th out of 63 competitors in the hammer with a toss of 145-10 during summer competition after she graduated. Her personal best marks are 25-8 1/2 in the shot put, 74-6 in the discus, 100-3 in the javelin and 145-10 in the hammer. Stray, a three-sport athlete, tore her ACL during her junior season.
