2011-12: Indoor:
After being hampered with a hamstring injury for most of the
season, Warner won the 60 hurdles at the BSC Indoor Championships,
edging out the runner-up by a millisecond with a school-record time
of 8.07. The previous record by Greg Rooney was set in 1980. He won
the 55 hurdles at the Candy Cane Invite, running a time of 7.72.
Warner also hit a personal-best time of 6.68 in the 55 at the Candy
Cane Invite. Outdoor: He placed third at the BSC Outdoor
Championships in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.37. His
personal-best time of 14.29 in the prelims was a mere .01 off the
school record. In a string of two weeks at meets in California,
Warner recorded very consistent times in the 110 hurdles in four
different races. He ran 14.61 (prelims) and 14.62 (finals) at the
Stanford Invite, 14.59 at the Mt. Sac Relays and 14.62 at the Beach
Invitational. Warner was selected to the spring Big Sky
All-Academic team.
2010-11: Indoor:
Warner placed fourth in the 60 hurdles at the BSC Indoor
Championships with a time of 8.35, a season best. His best time
prior to the championships was 8.40, which he hit twice during the
season (UW Invitational, Bronco Open). He was selected to the
winter Big Sky All-Academic team. Outdoor: Redshirted.
2009-10: Indoor: As a true freshman, Warner placed fifth in the 55 hurdles at the BSC Indoor Championships with a time of 7.65. In the prelims, Warner ran a tick faster, hitting a personal best of 7.64. That time ranks Warner sixth in school history. Outdoor: Warner placed fifth in the 110 hurdles at the BSC Outdoor Championships with a season-best time of 14.60. He also ran 14.68 at the Mt. SAC Relays to place 13th overall. He recorded a personal best in the 400 hurdles at the Mt. SAC Relays, clocking a time of 57.01. He was selected to the winter and spring Big Sky All-Academic teams.
High School: Warner won the 110 hurdles at the 2009 WIAA 4A State Championships with a time of 14.23. He had placed third in the state meet his junior year (14.70) and fourth during his sophomore year (15.00). He also reached state in the 300 hurdles during his junior and sophomore seasons, placing eighth in 2007 but being disqualified in 2008. Warner competed at the Border Duel Track Classic in 2008, placing second in the 110 hurdles (14.85) and sixth in the 300 hurdles (41.19). His career-best time in the 300 hurdles was 39.28, which came at the West Central Districts.
