2012-13: Indoor: Lemafa launched a personal best of 58-4 in the weight throw at the Big Sky Indoor Championships, placing ninth overall and just missing scoring points for the Eagles in a competitive field. That mark also came just short of vaulting Lemafa into the top 10 all-time lists, with the 10th mark being 58-5 1/4. His next best throw of 55-6 came at the Idaho Vandal Collegiate. Outdoor: Lemafa hit his season best of 175-2 in the hammer throw at the WAR VI to finish fifth overall. He placed 19th at the BSC Outdoor Championships with a toss of 159-7. He also competed in the discus, throwing a season best of 134-2 at the All-Idaho Cup.

Clackamas CC: Lemafa was third in the hammer (158-1), seventh in the shot put (44-0 1/2, personal-best) and 10th in the discus (127-9) at the 2012 NWAACC Championships. In his freshman year, he was fifth in both the hammer and discus and 11th in the shot put at the 2010 NWAACC Championships. His best mark in the hammer throw while at Clackamas CC was 163-0, which came at the John Knight Twilight, placing seventh. His other personal-best mark in the discus came at the Pacific Twilight Invitational, where he got off a throw of 141-1.  He redshirted the 2011 outdoor season.

High School: Competing for Auburn High School, Lemafa had personal bests of 134-6 in the discus and 102-4 in the javelin. His top mark in the discus came in a dual meet with Kentridge, where he placed first. His personal best in the javelin came in a dual meet with Kent-Meridian, placing him fourth. He placed 14th in the discus at the West Central District Championships his senior year with a throw of 123-2. He had placed 15th at the same meet a year earlier.
