High School Cross Country: Olivas recorded his best time on a 5,000-meter course his senior year, running 16:21.48.

High School Track: Olivas placed 15th in the 1600 meters at the State 4A Championships, recording a time of 4:23.52. His best time in the event came at the GSL/CBBN Regional meet when he had a time of 4:17.92.
