High School Cross Country: Monroy placed 75th at the State 2A Championship, recording a time of 21:18.0 on a 5,000-meter course. She also placed 69th at the state championship her sophomore year.

High School Track: Monroy ran the 1600 meters (6:12.03) and the 3200 meters (12:01.0) for West Valley High School. She also ran a leg on the 4x400 meter relay.
