Eagles, Grizzlies Meet Sunday on Altitude Game of the Week

Two teams trying to stay in the hunt for a berth to the Big Sky Conference men's basketball tournament meet in this Sunday's "Game of the Week" on Altitude Sports and Entertainment (DirecTV channel 644 and Dish Network channel 410).
Eastern Washington hosts Montana in the second meeting between the schools in a 10-day span. Action begins at 1 p.m. Pacific time from Reese Court in Cheney, Wash.
The game will also be televised by KSKN The CW 22 in Spokane, and Comcast Sports Net Northwest out of Portland, Ore. The game will be replayed on Altitude on Sunday at 10 p.m. Pacific and again Monday at Noon Pacific. Tom Morris will handle play-by-play duties with Ken Krahn providing color commentary.
Altitude, as well as KSKN The CW 22 in Spokane, will also carry EWU's game at Northern Arizona on Feb. 10 in Flagstaff, Ariz. That game also begins at 1 p.m. Pacific time.
Eastern Washington, under the direction of first-year coach Kirk Earlywine, is tied for seventh in the conference at 3-6. The Eagles are 8-15 overall after Thursday's 64-57 loss at home to Montana State. The top six teams advance to the Big Sky postseason tournament.
The Eagles are led by senior forward Kellen Williams, and junior guard Adris DeLeon. Williams averages 13.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. DeLeon, who scored 42 points two weeks ago in a victory over Northern Colorado, is averaging 13.4 points per game.
Montana, coming off a 70-68 loss at Portland State, is in sixth place in the league standings with a 3-5 record. The Grizzlies are led by senior forward Andrew Strait, who averages 12.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game and ranks ninth in the nation in field goal percentage at .642.
Montana beat Eastern Washington 80-61 last week in Missoula with Strait scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Jordan Hasquet added a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Grizzlies out-rebounded Eastern 36-15. DeLeon led the way with 19 points versus the Grizzlies and Williams added 13.
Altitude will televise a Big Sky Game of the Week every Sunday until Feb. 24. All remaining regular-season games will begin at 2 p.m. Mountain.
Altitude's coverage of Big Sky basketball won't end with the regular season. The network also plans to carry one of the Big Sky Championship semifinals live on March 11, while the other semifinal will be shown tape delay. The network will also televise the women's basketball championship live on March 15 at 5 p.m. Mountain.
Altitude is available within a 10-state territory of the Rocky Mountain Region including: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Northern New Mexico, Northeast Nevada and Southwest South Dakota Altitude is also available on DirecTV channel 644 and Dish Network channel 410.
Altitude and the Big Sky Conference will work to make the feeds available to local networks in Sacramento, Calif., Flagstaff, Ariz., Cheney, Wash., and Portland, Ore., when teams from those markets appear in the package.
