2010: Listed as a backup at “boundary” cornerback on EWU’s preseason depth chart.

2009: Was a non-lettering squad member. He played in three games, and had all three of his tackles versus Idaho State (10/3/09) when he was EWU’s special teams player of the week. He was also selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the week once.

HS: Graduated from Kent-Meridian HS in 2009. Earned first team All-South Puget Sound League North Division honors as a running back and second team accolades as a defensive back. He rushed 155 times for 1,267 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior, and also caught eight passes for 145 yards for a team that won just once. As a junior, he earned All-SPSL North Division honors as a defensive back when he had 34 tackles and three interceptions. He also rushed for 259 yards (7.2 per carry) and four touchdowns as Kent-Meridian finished 5-5.

Personal: Born 7/14/91 in Long Beach, Calif. His nickname is “junior” and his first name is pronounced “are-tuss.” Physical education major.
