HS: Graduated from Eatonville HS in 2009. Selected to play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B East-West All-State Game. He capped the scoring with a 36-yard field goal in the West’s 31-13 victory as he recorded the longest field goal in the 15-year history of the game. He also made all four of his extra point attempts. Earned first team All-State honors (all classifications) as a punter from the Tacoma News Tribune and the Seattle Times. He also earned 2A All-State accolades from the Associated Press. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. Twice he earned All-Nisqually Olympic League honors, including first team accolades as both a punter and kicker as a senior. He averaged 41.9 yards per punt with 10 downed inside the opponent’s 10-yard line (14 inside the 20) as Eatonville finished 5-5. Homan also made eight of 15 field goals, including a game-winner versus Fife, as well as 18 point after touchdown conversions and a 50.7 average on kickoffs. In the off-season, he was rated as the top punter from Washington at the Ray Guy Kicking Camp where he had marks of 42.80 for average punt, 54 for longest punt, 3.65 seconds for average hang time and 4.21 for best hang time. As a junior, he averaged 36.1 yards per punt with a long of 53 and three downed inside the 20. He also averaged 45.9 yards per kickoff, and added three field goals and 21 conversions. He was also a part-time kicker as a sophomore, averaging 24.9 per punt, 42.8 on kickoffs and making six field goals and 23 extra points. Eatonville was 5-5 his junior season and 5-6 in 2006. In three seasons, he averaged 37.6 yards per punt and made 17-of-27 field goals and 62-of-65 extra points. He was also a soccer letter winner since his freshman season. Had a 3.87 grade point average and earned a variety of academic honors while serving as his class vice president.
