2010: Listed as a backup at right defensive end on EWU’s preseason depth chart. Did not participate in spring practices because of a collarbone injury.

2009: Redshirted. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the year after earning player of the week honors three times.

HS: Graduated from Othello HS in 2009. Selected to play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B All-State Game. He earned first team 2A All-State honors from Associated Press as a defensive lineman. He had 16 sacks, 15 other tackles for loss and broke-up 16 passes to go along with five forced fumbles. He earned All-Central Washington Athletic Conference honors as a junior and senior, including Defensive MVP honors in 2008. He helped lead Othello to a 10-2 record, falling 33-28 to eventual State 2A runner-up Prosser in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Othello defeated Colville 28-21 in the first round.
