2010: Listed as a backup at left defensive end on EWU’s preseason depth chart. He had four sacks in four spring scrimmages.

2009: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. He saw action in 10 Eastern games as a true freshman, and had a season-high three tackles in Eastern’s final two games of the season versus Northern Arizona (11/21/09) and Stephen F. Austin (11/28/09).

HS: Graduated from Grandview HS in 2009. Was a first team 5A All-State selection in the state of Colorado as a defensive lineman in 2008. Earned first team All-Centennial League honors as a senior defensive lineman. He had 87 tackles (17 for loss) with nine sacks as a senior, helping Grandview to an 11-1 record. As a junior, he helped Grandview win the Colorado Class 5A state football championship with a 20-14 overtime win. The Wolves finished 12-2.
