HS: Graduated from Lakes HS in 2010. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He earned honorable mention All-South Puget Sound League 3A Division accolades. He helped lead Lakes to the State 3A Playoffs after a perfect regular season. His team defeated North Thurston 56-0 and Mt. Spokane 24-0 before falling to Liberty 17-13 in the semifinals as Lakes finished the season 12-1.
