2010: Did not play and redshirted after suffering a high ankle sprain in preseason practices.

2009: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Played in nine games as a true freshman, seeing action as a reserve safety and on special teams. He finished the year with six tackles, including three versus California (9/12/09).

HS: Graduated from Mountlake Terrace HS in 2009. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. Earned honorable-mention All-WesCo North Division honors as a senior after playing in just two games because of a broken fibula. As a junior, he earned second-team All-WesCo honors as a defensive back and honorable mention as a running back. He had 51 tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He also rushed 109 times for 671 yards (6.2 per carry) and seven touchdowns, and caught six passes for 66 yards to earn his team’s offensive player of the year honor. He also earned all-league accolades as a sophomore, and competed in baseball, basketball and track and field. He won a variety of academic honors as well.
