2011: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member. Was credited with one tackle, that coming in EWU’s final game of the season versus Idaho State (11/19/11).
HS: Graduated from Mountain View HS in 2010. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. Chapman was a 2009 4A Greater St. Helen’s League Coaches All-League first team selection at defensive end and a second team pick as a tight end. Earned All-Area accolades as a defensive lineman from the Columbian. He was also selected as a GSHL All Level All-Star (includes players from all 18 GSHL schools at the 4A, 3A and 2A classifications) by gshlfootball.com. His team selected him as a co-captain and co-lineman of the year. He finished his senior season with 65 tackles and four sacks on defense, and he had 16 receptions for 160 yards on offense. Also played basketball at Mountain View and helped his team advance to the State 4A Tournament in his sophomore season. He attended the same high school as former Eagle Michael Roos (’00 graduate of Mountain View), who is now an All-Pro offensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans.
