2012: Listed as a reserve at left offensive guard on preseason depth chart.

WSU: Transferred from Washington State University and will attend EWU for the first time in fall 2012. Redshirted at WSU in 2010, and did not appear in any games as a redshirt freshman in 2011. He earned WSU Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week honors twice.

HS: Graduated from Stanwood HS in 2010. As a senior he earned first team All-Area honors from the Everett Herald and was first team All-Western Conference as a linebacker. He was first team All-Wesco as a linebacker in his junior season, and was a first team selection in basketball as well.

Personal: Interested in pursuing engineering as his major. Born in Everett, Wash. His parents are Ron and Deanna Johnson. His sister, Lindsay, played softball at UNLV.
