2006: Listed as a reserve at receiver on preseason depth chart. 2005: Did not play due to a knee injury. 2004: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. He played sparingly as a receiver but did not catch a pass. He lettered on special teams as he recovered a blocked punt by teammate Gregor Smith for a touchdown against Weber State (10/23/04). Long finished the year with five tackles on special teams. He was selected as team Special Teams Player of the Week once. 2003: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member. Caught three passes for 17 yards in the Red-White Spring Game. 2002: Redshirted. HS: Graduated from Olympia HS in 2002. Was a first team All-Narrows League Bay Division selection as a wide receiver. He led Olympia to a 9-2 record in his senior season and was the team's MVP. He missed most of his junior year with a broken leg. He was an All-Narrows League centerfielder as both a junior and senior en route to earning Olympia Male Athlete of the Year honors. Personal: Born 9/12/83 in Seattle, Wash.
