2006: Listed as a starter at receiver on preseason depth chart. Is also expected to return punts and kickoffs. Moved from defense to offense in the spring. 2005: Started four games at cornerback as an injury replacement for Isaiah Trufant. He had 12 tackles and a pass broken up, including a career-high four tackles against Portland State (10/1/05) when he made the first start of his career. He attended Eastern for the first time in fall 2005 as a transfer from Santa Monica Junior College, where he was a teammate of current Eagle Brady Smith. Santa Monica JC: Before playing at Santa Monica, he attended the University of Toledo. HS: Graduated from Romulus HS in 2002. In three seasons he rushed for 2,632 yards and passed for more than 1,000. As a senior, he also had 447 yards in kickoff returns and had 25 tackles with an interception. He scored a total of 33 touchdowns and passed for 12. He earned All-State and All-Area accolades as a junior and senior when he was his team's MVP. He was all-conference three times, and played in a postseason all-star game in 2002 where he had three receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and carried three times for 60 yards.
