2008: Played in Eastern's first four games before suffering a season-ending broken scapula against Idaho State (9/27/08). He rushed 10 times for 84 yards, including 69 yards against Western Washington (9/20/08) that included touchdown runs of 3 and 30 yards. He also caught two passes during the season for five yards, returned three punts for 18 yards and four kickoffs for 89 yards with a long of 33.
2007: Redshirted. He was offensive scout team player of the week twice.
HS: Graduated from Friday Harbor HS in 2007. Earned honorable mention 1A All-State honors as a running back from the Associated Press as selected by sports editors and writers. In addition, WashingtonPreps.com selected him to its 1A All-State second team as a running back as well as honorable mention at both defensive back and return specialist. Selected to play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B All-State Game. Hart was named first team All-District 1 at both running back and defensive back. He was also named by the Seattle Times as a "White Chip" selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. As a three-year starter in his career, he helped lead Friday Harbor to a 32-4 record and nine playoff games. He scored in eight of those playoff games with a total of 21 touchdowns scored in five different ways (14 rushing, one receiving, three on kickoff returns, two on punt returns, one interception return). In seven regular season games as a senior, he rushed for 808 yards (10.1 per carry) and 13 touchdowns, and also caught six passes for 115 yards and completed 4-of-5 passes for another 105. He scored four touchdowns in a district playoff game against Orting, scoring on runs of 57 and 76 yards to finish with 158 yards total. Friday Harbor finished his senior season with a 9-2 record, losing 21-0 in the first round of the State 1A Playoffs. As a junior, Hart earned first team 1A All-State honors as a running back from Associated Press as well as WashingtonPreps.com. He was also a first team All-Northwest A/B League selection as a running back. He saw action as the team's backup quarterback, and was also an outstanding kick returner, kicker and defensive back. He rushed for 1,063 yards and caught two passes for 88 yards. In his sophomore season, he earned second team all-league honors as a receiver to help lead his team to a Northwest League title. In both 2004 and 2005, Friday Harbor finished 12-1 after losing to Royal in the semifinals of the State 1A Playoffs. As a junior in track and field, he placed third in the 100 (11.68, 11.65 in prelims) and third in the long jump (21-0) at the State 2A Championships at EWU's Woodward Field. He also played basketball.
