2006: Listed as a reserve at right offensive tackle on preseason depth chart. 2005: Redshirted. HS: Graduated from Walla Walla HS in 2005. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Named by the Seattle Times as a "White Chip" selection as one of the top 100 recruits in the state of Washington. He was a first team All-Big Nine Conference selection as an offensive lineman and received honorable mention as a defensive lineman. Was his school's Lineman of the Year. Walla Walla finished 7-5 after losing to top-ranked and unbeaten Pasco 49-10 in the first round of the State 4A Playoffs.
