2009: Listed as a backup at right cornerback on EWU's preseason depth chart.

2008: Did not start, but played in nine games. He finished with three catches for 27 yards.

JC: Transferred to Eastern from Sacramento City College. Leggin helped his team win Mid-Empire Conference and Shrine Bowl championships in 2006. He won the California Community College Athletic Association title in the 110-meter hurdles in 2007. At the time, his team finished third in the CCCAA. But after it was determined another school used an ineligible athlete, four months later Sac City was awarded the title.

HS: Graduated from Stadium HS in 2005. Earned all-league honors three years in high school and was the WIAA State 4A champion in the 110-meter hurdles in 2005 with a time of 14.71.

Personal: Born 12/14/86 in Tacoma, Wash. Full name is Jay-Tyler Leggin. Former University of Oregon and NFL wide receiver and current broadcaster Ahmad Rashad is his mother's (Annette Leggin) cousin. Government major.
