2006: Listed as a reserve at tight end on preseason depth chart. 2005: Saw action as a reserve tight end. 2004: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member. Although he missed much of the season with a knee injury, he saw action as a reserve tight end after previously playing at EWU as a wide receiver. 2003: Did not play. Caught a pass for 32 yards in the Red-White Spring Game. 2002: Redshirted. HS: Graduated from Shelton HS in 2002. Was a first team All-Narrows League Bridge Division selection as a wide receiver as a senior. The Tacoma News Tribune selected him as Shelton High School's Athlete of the Year, and the school selected him as the recipient of its Male Athlete of the Year award. Received the Award of Excellence in Sports from the Olympian. Caught 24 passes for 327 yards (13.6 per catch) with six touchdowns. He had a school-record 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, and kicked a school-record 39-yard field goal. Also punted and was the team's captain as Shelton finished the season 5-4. He was an honorable mention All-Pac Nine League wide receiver as a junior and also lettered in basketball and soccer at Shelton. An honor student, he earned a variety of league all-academic awards and has been involved in several community service projects. Personal: Born 5/11/84 in Olympia, Wash. His father Michael played on the freshman football team at Washington State University. Anthony received an American Red Cross Real Hero Award for saving a man's life in an avalanche.
