HS: Graduated from Fife HS in 2007. Earned honorable mention 2A All-State honors at tight end from the Associated Press as selected by sports editors and writers. He received 2A All-State first team honors at tight end from WashingtonPreps.com. Pollock was named by the Seattle Times as a "White Chip" selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He was selected to the Tacoma News Tribune All-Area team as a tight end. He was also a first team All-Nisqually League selection as a tight end, defensive lineman and punter with 20 catches for 365 yards and five touchdowns. As a blocker, he helped Fife rush for more than 3,000 yards. He also averaged 47 yards per punt and on defense he had 61 tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 17 quarterback pressures, three pass deflections and one blocked punt. He was team captain, and helped lead his team to its first league title in 20 years. Was listed among the "Seniors to Watch" on Ron Siegel's 2006 preseason All-State team. In his junior season, Pollock was first team All-Seamount League Pierce Division as a tight end. As a sophomore he earned honorable mention honors as a tight end. He also plays basketball and competes in track. As a junior, he was the track and field team's captain and was a league champion in the shot put. He also competed at the State Championships in the shot and discus. Personal: Born 11/24/88 in Tacoma, Wash. Will turn 19 one week after EWU plays Weber State. Intends to major in electrical engineering.
