HS: Graduated from Colfax HS in 2008. Was selected as a first team 1A All-State selection as a defensive lineman from WashingtonPreps.com. Selected to play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B All-State Game. Earned first team All-Northeast 1A League honors on offense and defense. He finished his senior season with 62 tackles, six sacks and four passes broken up. As a junior, he earned All-NEA League first team honors on offense and second team on defense. He will end his high school career as a four-year letter winner in football and three-year letter winner in basketball.
