HS: Graduated from Churchill HS in 2007. A three sport All-State performer, he earned honorable mention 5A All-State honors and was the Midwestern League MVP in football as a senior. He was a first team all-league pick as both a quarterback and free safety. He completed 137-of-218 passes for 1,586 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. In five league games, he completed 67 percent of his passes for 1,068 yards and 10 touchdowns. Churchill won all five games to finish undefeated in league play for the first time since 1987 and advance to the 5A Playoffs. He also earned second team all-league honors as a junior and received honorable mention as a sophomore. He is also an outstanding baseball player, earning second team All-State honors his junior season as an outfielder. He also earned first team All-Midwestern League honors as both a junior and sophomore. In addition, he helped lead his summer baseball team to a runner-up finish at the 2003 Babe Ruth World Series in Quincy, Mass., where he earned a Gold Glove award and was named to the tournament's All-Defensive Team. In basketball, he earned honorable mention All-State honors as a junior and first team all-league honors as both a junior and sophomore. Personal: Born 9/21/88 in Eugene, Ore.
