HS: Graduated from Lincoln HS in 2007. Earned first team 4A All-State honors at running back from the Associated Press as selected by sports editors and writers. The Seattle Times named Tinitali-Pula to its All-State offensive team and pegged him as a "White Chip" selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. WashingtonPreps.com put him on its 4A first team All-State list at running back. He also earned All-State and all-area honors from the Tacoma News Tribune. In addition, he was his the Narrows League Bridge Division offensive MVP for the second-straight season. Tinitali-Pula rushed for 5,300 yards and 72 touchdowns in his career to become the leading all-time rusher among high schools in the city of Tacoma, Wash. As a senior, he rushed for 1,680 yards (8.9 yard per carry average) and 24 touchdowns. In his junior season he had 1,682 yards and 23 touchdowns en route to earning Tacoma News Tribune All-Area and Area Player of the Year honors. As a junior, he also earned first team All-State honors from WashingtonPreps.com after rushing for 1,682 yards and 23 touchdowns. He was also the league's Offensive MVP. An ankle injury slowed him his sophomore season, but he still rushed for over 900 yards after a 1,000-yard season as a freshman when he helped the team to the State 4A Playoffs. Current Eagle teammate Jason Belford ('04) and former Eagle Harrison Nikolao ('02) also attended Lincoln. Personal: Last name is pronounced "tin-a-tall-ee pool-la."
