At Middle Tennessee State (2010-11): Played in seven matches for the Blue Raiders, compiling a 4-3 overall singles record. Went 3-0 at No. 5 singles, which included a 6-3, 6-1 win over Raleigh Smith of then-No. 60 Northwestern. Registered one win at No. 4 singles against Yale.
High School: As a prep athlete, Cohen ranked as high as third in the United Kingdom and was among the top-250 in the world. He reached the semifinals of the U14 Orange Bowl in singles play, and in the same tournament, paired with former MTSU teammate Elliott Barnwell to reach the semifinals of the U16 doubles. Cohen was invited by the Lawn Tennis Association to play an exhibition match on Cout No. 1 at Wimbledon. He trained at Bollettieri Tennis Academy and the Evert Tennis Academy both located in Florida.
