2009: Had an impressive freshman campaign, earning All-Big Sky Honorable Mention accolades for her work in the middle of the park. Jacobsen played in 17 of Eastern’s 18 contests, which included nine appearances in the starting lineup. The highlight of her season, and possibility that of the entire team, came on Oct. 8 when she slotted home the game winner against Weber State, snapping a seven-game losing streak for the Eagles in Ogden. Jacobsen’s goal came in just the sixth minute of the contest when she chipped a ball over the head of WSU’s netminder Rebecca Ritchie. Jacobsen’s second career-goal was also recorded on the road, as she converted on her one shot attempt of the day versus eventual BSC Tournament champions Northern Arizona (Oct. 25).

High School: While at Lynnwood (Wash.) High School, Jacobsen earned All-4A WesCo South first team accolades in 2006 and second team honors in 2008. She was in the Washington Olympic Developmental Program (ODP) state pool in 2005 and the Super-Y ODP camp in 2006. Jacobsen also served as team captain for the NWN 90 Red from 2007-09 and played for the club since 2001.
