2009: Saw action in 15 games as a freshman. Played an important role in EWU’s 3-0 rout of Eastern Oregon, as she took three shots and registered her first career assist after a flick to Whitney Brannan, who buried the shot from 17 yards out. Also tallied shots against UC-Davis, South Dakota, Portland State and Montana.

High School: A native of Lake Stevens, Wash., von der Hofen played her high school soccer at Archbishop Murphy High School. There, she helped the Wildcats to four consecutive top-three finishes at the 2A state tournament and helped the school to its first state title in 2006, earning Most Valuable Player accolades in that title contest. She also earned first team Associated Press all-state accolades and was named the Cascade Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2007.
