EWU Head Womens Soccer Coach George Hageage to be Featured on NSCAA Official Blog
Hageage continues professional development with insightful blogs and esteemed online coaching courses.
Starting today (Aug. 16), Eastern Washington University head women’s soccer coach George Hageage will be the featured author on “The Playbook” – the official blog of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
As a national staff member of the NSCAA, Hageage has made significant contributions to the organization since his appointment in 2006. Most recently, Hageage submitted an article exploring the importance of true competition and the necessary lessons learned when faced with adversity in the athletic arena. His article was selected by NSCAA Marketing and Events Coordinator Kristine Mason to be the featured entry for the week of Aug. 16 – 20.
During that time frame, readers can submit comments or questions about the post and Hageage will respond to those inquiries. “The Playbook” is part of the interactive community available through the NSCAA. Each week, it highlights a new post from a variety of soccer experts, including NSCAA administration, professional staff members and national and professional team coaches.
In addition to his work with the NSCAA, Hageage was recently invited to take an online coaching course offered through the League Manager’s Association School of Football Management. These development courses are reserved for professional coaches in Europe, most notably the football managers of the English Premier League, as well as special invitees.
