2011: Had an impressive freshman year, leading the team with six goals in 774 minutes of play. She had a stellar weekend at the Bronco Invitational, scoring the lone goal against Boise State (Aug. 26) and putting home two more in a narrow 3-2 loss against Air Force (Aug. 28). She added two goals in the 4-0 win against Evergreen (Sept. 16), and recorded one goal in Eastern’s only conference win of the season - a 3-0 shutout at Weber State (Oct. 15). She was selected to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average in her rookie year.

High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner and two-year team captain for the Battle Ground Tigers…Named the Greater St. Helen’s League Co-Player of the Year in 2010…Earned back-to-back All-League first-team honors in 2008 and 2009…Was an All-Region first-team selection as a senior… Selected as team’s Offensive MVP for four-consecutive years…Scored 52 goals and had 23 assists throughout her preparatory career… Played club soccer for the FC Vancouver Justice for four years, helping the team capture the WSYSA Championship Cup in 2005 and U.S. Club Regional Championship in 2005 and 2006…Played for FC Vancouver in 2009.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Joni Black…Has aspirations for a career in medicine, and plans to major in biology at Eastern.
