At Coastal Carolina University: Appeared in five games for a total of 84 minutes of play in 2011. Recorded two shots on the year and put one on goal in Coastal Carolina’s 3-0 win against Virginia Military Institute (Oct. 8).
High School: Graduated form Eastlake High School in 2011 after four years as a defender for the Wolves. Helped her team qualify for the state tournament all four years, and in 2007, Eastlake won the 4A title after a perfect 24-0 season. Earned All-KingCo Conference honors in 2010. Played on Crossfire Premier and Eastside FC club teams. Led Eastside FC to six championship finals and secured two championship cups, one at the Surf Cup Thanksgiving tournament in 2009 and the other at the Las Vegas Showcase in 2010. Was a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Scholar Athlete and a member of both the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. Also lettered in track, recording a personal best time of 12.56 in the 100 meters.
Personal: Daughter of Dennis and Michelle Guches. Father played football and was a member of the track and field team at Southern Oregon. Sister, Marissa, plays softball for UConn, and cousin, Matt Boyd, plays baseball for Oregon State. Grandfather, John Boyd, played football for the Naval Academy, and uncle, Kurt Boyd, played baseball for Washington. Plans to major in computer science with career ambitions to be a video game designer.
