After winning two in a row against Long Beach State and Utah Valley State, the Eastern Washington University women's soccer team (3-7-1) fell 1-0 to Utah State (4-6-0) Saturday (Sept. 30) in Orem, Utah.

The only goal in the game came in the 65th minute when Charity Weston scored for the Aggies, with assists by Jessie Malaska and Shannon Ross.

Eastern was outshot by Utah State 22-2. Big Sky offensive player of the week Cyeeta Mott and sophomore Morgan O'Friel had the only two shots of the game for the Eagles.

Tiera Como recorded seven saves for the Eagles and now has 365 saves in her career at Eastern. In the last game against Utah Valley State, Como broke the Eastern saves record of 350.

The Eagles return to action Tuesday (Oct. 3) at the Sports and Recreation Center in Cheney, Wash. to host Idaho in their last non-conference match of the season. Northern Colorado will then make their first ever trip to Cheney as members of the Big Sky Conference, as conference play opens up Friday (Oct. 6) at 4 p.m. Eastern will then host Northern Arizona Sunday (Oct. 8) at noon, also a BSC game.
