Sophomore Abby Jensen scored the game winning goal with eight seconds left to give the Eastern Washington University women's soccer team (4-7-1) a 2-1 victory over Idaho (0-12-0) in a non-conference match Tuesday (Oct. 2) in Cheney, Wash.

The Vandals scored first off a goal by Nicole McAllister off an assist by Ashley Perez in the 22nd minute and went into halftime with the 1-0 lead. Both Eastern and Idaho had two shots in the first period.

Eastern's first goal came in the 75th minute by Jensen with an assist by Brittney Doran to tie the game at 1-1.

The Eagles outshot the Vandals eight to one in the second period. Tiera Como recorded two saves for the Eagles in the victory.
