2008-09: Outdoors, Borders finished 11th in the triple jump and 14th in the 100 hurdles at the Big Sky Conference Championships. Her best 100 hurdles came at the 38th Annual Pelluer Invitational with a time of 14.91. Her career-best triple jump was at the Vandal Jamboree with a jump of 36-4 1/4. Indoors, Borders finished 15th in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.27 at the BSC Championships. Her best 60 hurdles of 9.02 and triple jump of 35-11 1/2 came at the Vandal Collegiate.  She was named Big Sky All-Academic both indoors and outdoors.
