Moseley and Bridgmon Record Personal Bests in 5000

Camille Moseley and Mattie Bridgmon of the Eastern Washington University track and field team, both recorded personal bests in the women's 5,000 at the Oregon Invitational, April 20.

Moseley ran a 17:04.17 to rank her third all-time in school history. She has already qualified for the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 and the 1,500.

Bridgmon's time of 17:07.31 ranks her fourth in school history. She broke her previous career best that she set at the Al Manuel Invitational in Missoula, Mont., earlier this season, which qualified her for the BSC Outdoor Championships.

Jessica Duran was the lone EWU athlete to compete at the Springfest Relay's at Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho this weekend. She finished seventh in the heptathlon with 4,243 points. Duran ran a personal best in the 200 with a time of 25.55. She also qualified for the BSC Outdoor Championships earlier this season.

The final day of the Oregon Invitational is April 21, beginning with the field events at 2 p.m.
