2009: Utilized redshirt season
High School: As a senior, Wright helped lead the Cascade High School Kodiaks to a berth in the 1A state semifinals and a sixth-place finish as well as league and district titles. In doing so, she earned first team All-State honors. Wright is believed to be the first CHS graduate to play Division I volleyball. She also helped the basketball squad to a state tournament berth. Neither sport had advanced to state since both achieved that feat in the 2004 calendar year. In her basketball career at CHS, she scored more than 1,000 points, becoming just the fourth player in school history to achieve that feat. Wright not only set the team pace in scoring during her time there, but also was the team leader in rebounds, steals and blocks. Her birth parents are Tim Wright and Heidi Kuhn, and her step-parents are Theresa Wright and Doug Kuhn. She plans to major in business.
