2011: Started 27 of 28 matches in her sophomore campaign…Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team for the second year in a row, and boasts the highest GPA on the squad…Averaged 1.58 kills per set, 1.09 digs and 0.45 blocks…Wright had six double-digit kill outings, five of which were in Big Sky Conference play…She led Eastern to a crucial 3-2 win on the road against Montana State (Sept. 23) with 14 kills on a .480 attack percentage and a career-high four service aces…She also had six digs and one block in that contest…Wright had another 14 kills and a career-high nine digs in a 3-2 win against Idaho State (Sept. 17)…She posted a career-high 16 kills, to go along with four digs and three blocks, in another five-set victory on the road against Northern Arizona (Nov. 3).
2010: Wright was selected as the Most Improved Player by her teammates, and was honored with the Emtman Award, which is given to one volleyball student-athlete who best exhibits strong work ethic, perseverance, character and a team-first attitude during the spring season…Wright was also a member of the Big Sky All-Academic team…She played in 26 of Eastern’s 27 matches, earning 15 starts throughout the year…She registered three double-doubles, all of which came during conference play…She had 10 kills, 11 digs and two blocks in Eastern’s 3-1 defeat of Idaho State (Oct. 23), and helped the Eags capture a 3-0 win over Northern Arizona (Oct. 15) with eight kills, five digs and four blocks…Wright had a career-high six blocks in a sweep of Montana State (Oct. 29), and then had back-to-back double-doubles against Montana (Oct. 30) and Portland State (Nov. 6)…She recorded 10 kills and a season-high 12 digs versus the Grizzlies and had a season-high 13 kills and 10 digs versus PSU.
2009: Utilized redshirt season.
High School: As a senior in 2008, Wright helped lead the Cascade High School Kodiaks to a berth in the 1A state semifinals and a sixth-place finish, as well as league and district titles…In doing so, she earned All-State First-Team honors…Wright is believed to be the first CHS graduate to play Division I volleyball…She also helped the Cascade High basketball squad to a state tournament berth…In her basketball career at CHS, she scored more than 1,000 points, becoming just the fourth player in school history to achieve the feat…Wright not only led the team in offense during her time there, but also was the team leader in rebounds, steals and blocks.
