2011: Played in all 28 matches during her junior campaign, averaging 4.40 assists per set and 1.89 digs as one of two setters in Eastern’s 6-2 offense…Registered eight double-doubles on the year, and tallied the second-most service aces of anyone on the squad with 27…Tallied 25 assists, 13 digs and two aces in a thrilling five-set victory on the road versus Montana (Sept. 24)…Had 24 assists and a career-high 19 digs to lead EWU to a 3-1 win against Montana State (Oct. 29)…Posted a season-high 28 assists at Northern Arizona, while also picking up seven digs to help the Eags to a five-set win against the Lumberjacks…She was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team for the second year in a row, and was also presented with the “Triple Threat Citizen” Award at the fourth-annual EeeWoos for her dedication and success in the three areas of athletics, academics and community service.
2010: Brown split setting duties with Lindsay Niemeier as part of EWU’s 6-2 offense in 2010... Brown, who boasted the second-highest GPA on the team in the 2010-11 school year, was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team for the first time in her career...She played in all 27 matches, averaging 5.40 assists per set...She recorded 30+ assists on four different occasions and had three double-doubles throughout the year, two of which came in conference play... In Eastern’s second outing of the year against Seattle (Aug. 28), Brown tallied a career-high 52 assists, to go along with 11 digs, four kills and two blocks... She had one of the best all-around performances of the year in a 3-0 sweep of Northern Arizona (Oct. 15), as she finished the match with 35 assists, eight digs, five kills and a career-high six blocks...The very next day versus Northern Colorado (Oct. 16), she had 45 assists, five digs, four blocks and two kills...Brown registered her second double-double of the year at Weber State (Oct. 22) with 22 assists and 12 digs...She also had three kills and a career-high three aces in that match...She tallied 23 assists and 14 digs in EWU’s narrow 3-2 loss to Portland State (Nov. 6), and had 31 assists in another five-set heartbreaker at Northern Arizona (Nov. 13).
2009: Brown played in 11 matches for the Eagles as the backup setter, tallying 11 total assists...She also picked up two digs on the season.
2008: Utilized redshirt season.
High School: As a senior at Waterville High School in 2007-08, Brown was named to the Associated Press 2B All-State second team and was Co-MVP of the North Central League (NCL)...She was a member of the All-NCL First Team each of her final three years after earning second-team accolades as a freshman...Both her volleyball and basketball teams finished sixth at the state tournament her junior year, and each squad also went undefeated in NCL play...As a senior, the WHS volleyball team placed second in the league and advanced to the second round of districts...Brown was selected to participate in the 23rd Annual All-State Volleyball Series...In basketball, she earned All-League Second-Team honors her sophomore and junior seasons...She played for the North Central Washington Volleyball Club...Brown also competed for the track and field team in the long jump and triple jump.
Personal: Daughter of Gary and Penny Brown...Her sister, Jacque, graduated from EWU in 2011 after a four-year career with the Eagle volleyball program...Doulbe majoring in recreation management and business administration.
