2011: As a rookie, Julian started 27 of 28 matches for the Eagles, averaging 0.93 kills and 0.64 blocks per set…She had at least four kills in 11 conference games, and had one or more blocks in every single outing of the year…Posted a career-high eight blocks to aid in Eastern’s thrilling 3-2 upset of rival Washington State (Aug. 27)…Tallied three kills, five blocks and seven digs in another five-set victory against Idaho State (Sept. 17)… Matched her career-high of seven kills against Montana (Oct. 28), and also had three blocks and two digs, as the Eagles won again in five sets over the Grizzlies…Honored on the Big Sky All-Academic team, and was selected by her teammates as the Most Improved Player for the season with fellow freshman Talia Fermantez.

High School:  Julian graduated from Kennewick (Wash.) High School in 2011. In her senior season at KHS, the Lady Lions earned a bid to the 3A State Volleyball Tournament for the first time in school history…Julian was the team captain during the memorable 2010 season, and led the team in kills (3.2/game), blocks (0.8/game) and service aces (0.5/game) …She was selected to the All-Columbia Basin Big Nine First Team and Tri-City Herald All-Area First Team in 2009 and 2010. She was an All-CBBN Second-Team selection in 2008 and was on the honorable mention squad in 2007…Julian was also a standout on the track and field team. She took third in the discus at the 2011 3A State Championships after winning the title at the Big 9 3A district meet…She is also the two-time defending discus champion of the Ram Relays…Julian also excelled in the classroom, as a four-time Scholar-Athlete at Kennewick High School. She was a two-year member of the National Honor Society and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class with a 3.918 cumulative grade point average…Julian was awarded the Ed Troxel Endowment Scholarship for achievements in athletics, academics and leadership, as well as the Sally Jo Hansen Scholarship.

Personal: Daughter of Greg Julian and Geri Taylor-Julian…Plans to pursue a degree in education.
