Walker, a veteran of EWU volleyball, enters his sixth year with the program. He served as a volunteer assistant for two years before being named an assistant coach in 2008.

Over the past six seasons, he has been involved with all aspects of the program, specializing in training and in-game coaching of the defensive specialists and outside hitters. He is also directly involved with the scouting and recruiting efforts of the team.

Additionally, Walker has served as head coach with various teams at the Spokane Splash Volleyball Club since 2006.

From 2002-03, he was a head coach with the Timberlake Volleyball Club, based in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Prior to that, Walker was a volunteer assistant coach for the Gonzaga Prep freshman team.

Walker also was a head coach for a USA Swimming U-12 team, the Phoenix Swim Club.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Gonzaga University in 2002.
