2004: Jacoby played in 13 matches for the Eagles. A service ace and a block were recorded in EWU's sweep of Furman. She tallied a kill and a dig in Eastern's impressive 3-1 road win over Iowa. She had a pair of digs early in Big Sky Conference play, helping the Eagles earn a road sweep of Portland State. 2003: Jacoby saw time in 13 matches. She had nine kills on the season, recording a season-high total of four in a three-game sweep of Providence. She also had three digs, two service aces and a pair of blocks in that match, all career highs. Personal: Jacoby played the 2003 and 2004 seasons for the Eagles under her maiden name Heather Gordon prior to leaving school for a few years. During that time period, she lived in Louisiana with her husband, Michael, who was serving in the Army. Prior to joining the Eagles, she was a four-year starter for the Onalaska High School Loggers. She was MVP of the Southwest Washington Conference for three seasons. Her junior and senior seasons, Jacoby was honored as a member of the 1A All-State Tournament first team and earned the tournament's Sportsmanship Award her senior season. She also set many school records at OHS, including most kills in a match (27), season (360) and career (1,062), most service aces in a season (55) and career (160), most assists in a match (29) and career (968), and most digs in a season (254) and career (890). She is the daughter of Susan and Byron Gordon. Jacoby is majoring in education (earth science emphasis) and is minoring in physical education. She and Michael have a son, Justin, who was born on Feb. 16, 2007.
