After a competitive weekend in California, the Eastern Washington University soccer team will get to enjoy home-field advantage for the first time this season, as it hosts Seattle and UC-Irvine on Sept. 3 and 5, respectively, at the Sports and Recreation Center Playing Fields in Cheney, Wash.
The Eastern Washington University womens soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2010 season on Sunday (Aug. 29), as Cal State Fullerton topped EWU 4-0 at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, Calif. Eastern falls to 0-1-1 on the season, while Cal State Fullerton improves its record to 1-1-0.
After 90 minutes of regulation soccer and two overtime periods, neither Eastern Washington nor Cal State Bakersfield was able to break a 1-1 deadlock on Friday (Aug. 27) at Main Soccer Field in Bakersfield, Calif.
